About Us
We, Shalini and Angela, run Story Revolution with the help of friends. While our main vocation is teaching, this is a small venture that has been sustained through our passion for good reading. We help run and teach at a small school called Shibumi in Bangalore. Being closely in touch with children and books at the school has helped us gain a better understanding of the suitability and appeal of different books for different children. We are also happy to advise parents about this.
We started Story Revolution three years ago while setting up Shibumi's library, as we came upon multiple copies of wonderful books which would probably go unnoticed in their dusty cartons in second-hand book stores if they were not picked up and shared.
Our awareness of these books continues to grow, along with the excitement and joy of discovering these treasures and sharing them.
