About the Books
Story Revolution currently specialises in carefully selected second-hand books, especially those that are difficult to find in India.
We are not a bookstore for books that merely sell, but are concerned with finding the best of children’s literature and making it available to young people. We select intelligent and creatively written books, spending a lot of time locating books that tell tales of compassion, sensitivity and awakening. These are for us the most important attributes of books we would like to expose young people to, and not just the stimulation and excitement provided by some of the most popular literature.
Books we see as being 'sensitive' and 'excellent' are those that are written well, with a sense of joy and passion, and with an understanding of the mind of the child. Books that children will love. Books that will open children’s minds, deepening curiosity, empathy, compassion and understanding, both of themselves and the world around them.
We aim to have a small but special selection of books to help parents and teachers keep their children’s minds curious and sensitive.
